Job Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Pre-shift food prep
- Stocking of truck for service and taking inventory
- Operating a point of sale (POS) system
- Fulfill customer orders
- Being happy and positive when working with customers
- Help run the line/ Prepare sandwiches and pack orders
- Prepare and serve sides
- Post-shift cleaning and stocking of the restaurant or food truck
- Doing dishes after a service (pots, pans, etc.)
- Post-shift organizing and inventory
- Driving the Food Truck or Catering Van to fixed locations and events
- Ability to work autonomously
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast paced environment
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Able to work under pressure during a busy lunch or dinner rush in fast-paced tight quarters while maintaining the highest food/ product quality
- Being a team player
Job Requirements
- One year or more of professional cooking experience as a short order cook or have worked in a food truck (Preferred but willing to train the right candidate)
- Must be able to be on their feet for 4+ hours during service
- Must be legally eligible to work in the United States
- Must have a valid US driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Must have a clean driving record and criminal history report
- Experience driving large vehicles such as a Food Truck or Catering Van
Preference will be given to candidates who have:
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
- Prior Restaurant Experience
- Cash handling experience
- A Valid Food Manager’s license and or ServSafe
